Swiss Steak

From Edith Parr (Easy version of Roladin) 

 Ingredients: 
1lb to 1-1/2lbs of any cut of beef 
1/2 onion diced 
5 strips bacon 
1 Tbs. margarine 
4 C. water (approximately) 
2 beef bullion cubes 
corn starch to thicken 
salt and pepper to taste 

 Directions: 
1. Cut meat into 1-2 inch strips. 
2. Melt margarine in lg frying pan. Brown meat well in margarine. 
3. Add meat to pressure cooker. 
4. Brown diced onion and add to the pressure cooker. 
5. Add bacon and bullion cubes to pressure cooker. Don't separate the bacon into individual slices. Keep it stuck together because it is only there to add flavor. 
6. Add water to pressure cooker and cook on high until pressure cooker rocks. 
7. Reduce heat and cook an additional 30 mins more. 
8. Remove bacon slices from pressure cooker and add corn starch to thicken into a gravy. Salt and pepper to taste. 
9. Serve over mashed potatoes.
