Chocolate Brownie Trifle

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
• 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 pint heavy cream
• 3 Tbs sugar
  
• 1 (12 ounce) french vanilla cool whip, thawed
• caramel topping
  
• health toffee candy, broken into bits
  
• 1 (1.5 ounce) bar chocolate candy, shaved
  

DIRECTIONS:

1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
2. Mix choc. pudding and water in small bowl. In a larger bowl whip 1/2 pint heavy cream and 3 tbsp sugar. Then fold in cream with the pudding/water.
3. In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, a caramel layer, half heath toffee bits, half of the choc. pudding mixture and half of the 12 ounce container of cool whip. Repeat layers. Shave chocolate onto top layer for garnish. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
