Ingredients:
1 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 cubes butter
2/3 C. chopped nuts
-Mix ingredients with a pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal. Press well into a 9x13 pan and bake at 325 for 30 mins. Take out and cool completely. This is important because when the crust is cooled completely, it has a flaky texture that is to die for!
Once it is cool,
1 C. powdered sugar
1 8oz pkg softened cream cheese
1/2 of a 8oz tub of cool whip (4oz)
-Beat sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add half (4oz) of the tub of cool whip. Spread on cooled crust.
Then mix,
60z chocolate pudding mix
3 C. milk
-Combine pudding with milk and spread on top of cream cheese layer immediately. Let pudding set up in fridge. Put the rest of the cool whip (other 40z) on top of chocolate layer. Sprinkle with chopped nuts is desired.
