*from realmomkitchen.comThis was such a delicious new way to cook pulled pork. (There are so many different recipes out there!) I loved this pork so much that I had to stop myself when I just couldn't stop eating it plain out of the crock pot! Yum.
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp ground cumin
2 Tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb pork tenderloin or pork roast
-In a slow cooker, combine the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, salt, and garlic.
-Carefully place the pork into the sauce in the slow cooker. Roll the pork around in the sauce a few times to make sure it is all covered with the sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours.
-Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred the pork using two forks, pulling against the grain of the meat. Add the pork back to the slow cooker and combine with the sauce.
-Place pork on a hamburger bun or rolls for delicious pork sandwiches. Or top a salad with the pork! You can also wrap it up in a tortilla with lettuce, cheese, rice and sour cream for a delicious burrito! Mix it up. It's amazing anyway you chose!
